Ingredients:
- 1 (16oz box) Ziti noodles
- 1 (16oz jar) Ragu (Hollie recommends tomato, onion & garlic flavor)
- 1-1.5 cups fresh shredded parm cheese
- 2 cups shredded mix blend italian cheese
- optional – any leftover meat or veggies - chicken, hamburger, etc. (In the version picutured above I used leftover meatloaf)
Putting It All Together:
- Boil Ziti noodles until al dente (cooked between soft & hard, not firm)
- Place noodles in casserole dish
- Pour sauce on top
- Stir in cheeses (reserving 1 cup of italian mix)
- Add meat and/or veggies
- Bake @ 350 for 15 minutes or until bubbly
- Sprinkle remainder of cheese on top
- Place back in oven until cheese melts
To make ahead, prepare through step 5, wrap tightly in foil and refrigerate overnight. Remove from fridge and allow to come to room temperature, proceed with remaining steps.
Thank you for this delicious recipe Hollie! It is a Lunch-Wagon favorite! Enjoy!
